A Unique Restaurant
“Dining is and always was a great artistic opportunity.” -Frank Lloyd Wright
Wine in a restaurant is practically meaningless without food. Enjoying wine in a restaurant is not merely about appreciating its individual greatness, but about choosing its perfect partner in great food. With experience and a little luck one can find the perfect balance between wine and food to create a greater dining experience. Thus, a wine list should be more than a collection of great wines; it should reflect and complement the cuisine. I have assembled this wine list with the purpose of choosing wines based on their compatibility with the dishes we serve at Stella! For guests desiring classic, top producer, and small production wines we present top scoring and consistently well performing wines. Those trophy wines present on the list simply mirror the elevated level of food and service of Stella! Most of the wine list is comprised of well-balanced wines waiting to be married to one, if not more, of Executive Chef and Owner Scott Boswell’s dishes. Please enjoy the ambience, food, wine, and service at Stella! this evening and don’t hesitate to ask any favor or question concerning the service of wine at your table. Sincerely, General Manager and Sommelier Gregory Mark Knaps Wines By the Glass
